Lamrim Discussion Group

From February 11, 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm

In this series of eight classes, students will discuss two very important subjects: the precious human rebirth, and impermanence and death. Each class begins with a brief overview of the key points of the topic. Ideally, participants will have attended Geshe Dhargye's teachings so these review classes will not include an in-depth presentation.

Following the overview, the rest of the session will be spent sharing ideas on how to incorporate these principles into our lives. Having only an intellectual understanding of the teaching is not enough. What obstacles have we encountered in generating complete conviction in these teachings and how have we overcome them? What positive results have we experienced? These and other questions will be discussed.

Facilitators: Ani Tendrol (four sessions) and Lam Rim teachers
