OVERVIEW:

In this special, limited series class we will take a detailed walk through the Tibetan text of the Lama Tsongkhapa guru yoga prayer known as ‘Ganden Lha Gyama’. We will review through the vocabulary of entire prayer word by word, touching briefly on how it all hangs together. No prior knowledge of Tibetan is required, but some familiarity with the Tibetan alphabet would be helpful.

Instructors:

Kaia Fischer began studying Classical Tibetan in 2008, and since 2010 has worked as a translator for 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha, where with their mentor Dr. Lozang Jamspal they have translated the Karmaśataka (las brgya tham pa) and other scriptures.
