Solitary Hero Yamantaka Review Session (Thursday Session)

From July 2021 to August 2025, Geshe Dhargey presented an in-depth presentation of the sadhana practice of this Yidam. This series continue the study of this practice by using all of Geshe-la’s previous recorded presentations and specific authorized commentaries as our guide.
These review sessions will start on Thursday, October 23rd at 7:00-8:30pm and continue every other Thursday for the foreseeable future.
Note that previous review sessions have already been completed, therefore these review sessions will pick up with review of Session #26, which presents Blessing the Self-Generation Sense/Outer Offerings and Inner Offering; Praise and Requesting Enlightened Activities.
There will be a number of authoritative commentaries used for reference with the main sources being Tri Gyaltsen Senge, Lhundrub Pandita, Ngulchu Dharmabhadra, and Losang Lungtog Tenzin Trinley’s commentaries.
If you only have time to review one of the commentaries, Geshe-la recommends Tri Gyaltsen Senge’s commentary.
As with previous review sessions for this series, the host is John Cerullo. John will put each of Geshe Dhargey’s previous sessions into focus and augment these will additional instructions from the commentaries.
For Zoom login information, copy of links to all the recordings, and any questions or comments, please contact John Cerullo directly.
NOTE:
As most of you know, the review sessions for the generation stage sadhana practice of Solitary Hero Yamantaka have already started, meeting bi-weekly every other Monday evening from 7-8:30pm ET. This meeting time will continue with the next schedule meet-up being this coming Monday, October 20th.
With that said, there are a number of people who have informed me that they cannot attend Monday evenings due to a scheduling conflict, so I am adding another review study group “section” on Thursday evenings. These bi-weekly sessions will start on Thursday, October 23rd at 7:00pm.
To be clear, the Thursday evening session will cover the same material that is covered in the Monday evening session. So, it is like a college course that has two different “sections” that meet at different times but covers the exact same materials. So, you now have a choice to attend either Monday or Thursdays or both.
